A.M. Best’s Glossary of Insurance Terms
No insurance resource would be complete without a comprehensive glossary of terms. A.M. Best has compiled a list of terms and their definitions to better help you navigate the sometimes confusing world of insurance.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
The EPA works to develop and enforce regulations that implement environmental laws enacted by Congress. EPA is responsible for researching and setting national standards for a variety of environmental programs, and delegates to states and tribes the responsibility for issuing permits and for monitoring and enforcing compliance.

NCCI
National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. manages the nation’s largest database of workers compensation insurance information. NCCI analyzes industry trends, prepares workers compensation insurance rate recommendations, determines the cost of proposed legislation, and provides a variety of services and tools to maintain a healthy workers compensation system.

National Weather Service’s Interactive Weather Information Network
This page provides access to National Weather Service information for the entire United States. The same information sorted by state is also available.

OSHA
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration aims to ensure employee safety and health in the United States by working with employers and employees to create better working environments. The agency provides a variety of publications in print and online. In addition, workplace safety and health information or assistance for employees is available during business hours through OSHA's call center at 1-800-321-OSHA.

U.S. Department of Labor
The Department of Labor fosters and promotes the welfare of the job seekers, wage earners, and retirees of the United States. The Department administers a variety of Federal labor laws including those that guarantee workers’ rights to safe and healthful working conditions; a minimum hourly wage and overtime pay; freedom from employment discrimination; unemployment insurance; and other income support.
